Late Drama Seals Another Win for Logifuture! Wednesday's showdown between Tipico and Logifuture had everything you’d expect from the BAI League—goals, drama, and a little bit of controversy. Logifuture came in as the surprise package of the season after their big win against Casino Malta in the first round, while Tipico had to shuffle things around, with Kevin stepping in as goalkeeper due to an injury to their first-choice shot-stopper. Tipico started strong, using an extra player tactic that worked wonders in the first half, going into halftime with a 4-2 lead. It looked like they had found the secret formula to deal with Logifuture, but then the second half came, and things got a little... let's say "interesting." Logifuture decided to shake things up by putting their star player, Sebastian, in goal, allowing them to push five players up the field. Tipico, on the other hand, went into ultra-defensive mode, trying to defend their two-goal lead for the entire half. Not exactly a masterclass in courage—more like parking the bus and throwing away the keys. It didn’t pay off. Bit by bit, Logifuture clawed their way back into the game, and with 10 minutes left, Matteo Costanzi equalized to make it 4-4. Tipico quickly regained the lead in their next attack, giving their fans a glimmer of hope, but it didn’t last long. Moments later, Cosimo Napolitano leveled things up again. With just one minute left on the clock, the stage was set for some last-minute heroics, and Sebastian Ricardo Nayar delivered, slotting in the winner to give Logifuture a 6-5 victory and all three points. Tipico must be feeling like it’s déjà vu—they’ve now lost twice with goals in the dying moments. Next week, Tipico faces Islanders, who are also still looking for their first win, while Logifuture takes on Come on, a team still finding its feet. However, the win wasn’t without its downsides. Logifuture's players spent a too much time arguing with the referee over nearly every decision, creating an unnecessary fuss and putting constant pressure on the officials. It was unsporting behavior that we don’t like to see in the BAI League. Hopefully, as newcomers, they’ll learn that it’s better to let their football do the talking!
