⚽What a game - decided by the last kick! Betclic and Tipico faced off in a real nail-biter, and in the end, it came down to one shot. These two teams had never met before. Tipico came out flying and grabbed an early lead thanks to their new man, Paul Glahe. Betclic didn’t panic though and managed to pull level just before halftime. In the second half, Betclic flipped the script, bagging two more goals and looked peacefully to the finish line. But, of course, it wasn’t that simple. In the 34th minute, Tipico clawed one back. Betclic’s defence was tough, making life difficult for Tipico as they tried to find a way through. Then, right at the death, Tipico’s skipper, Kevin Bornfleth, popped up with a stunning strike from a corner to make it 3-3! Just when everyone thought we’d settle for a draw, Betclic had one last throw of the dice. With only 30 seconds left, Michael Costa let fly from distance, and Tipico’s keeper, Armin Mollen, fumbled it. The ball ended up in the back of the net, sealing an unbelievable 4-3 win for Betclic! Two goals in the dying moments - easily the most dramatic game of the round. Next week, Tipico will try to bounce back against Logifuture, the season’s biggest surprise so far, while Betclic will be looking to keep the momentum going against Comeon Group, who were free on the first round.
